YumCut Mobile, CookCove, Rewind Riddle, Text Brush, Video Target & Image Target

Privacy Policy

Effective: 17 November 2025 (Last Updated: 22 October 2026)

Protecting your creative work matters to us. This document explains what information the YumCut mobile app, CookCove, Rewind Riddle, Text Brush, Video Target and Image Target collect, how it is used, and when it may be shared. Each app-specific section applies only to the named app; the numbered sections that follow apply to YumCut Mobile.

CookCove

Recipe import and AI processing

CookCove does not require an account. Your recipe library, cookbooks, edits, and original media remain on your device. Manual entry, on-device Vision text recognition, local PDF text extraction, and complete Schema.org recipe imports can work without the CookCove AI service.

Data sent for paid AI import

When an active trial, annual, lifetime, or explicitly enrolled development user asks CookCove to structure an unstructured recipe, the app sends the source URL when available, raw or cleaned text, on-device OCR text, locale, a local draft, and an optional sanitized JPEG no larger than 1280 × 720. PDF files are not uploaded. The current text-only model receives the recipe text, not the image. The image copy is retained only with the processing record for diagnostics and deletion support.

Identity, purchases, and security

CookCove uses Apple App Attest, Apple-signed StoreKit transaction proofs, and a stable Apple app transaction identifier to protect the paid service and enforce its usage limit. The server stores the app transaction identifier only as a keyed hash. It may also process Apple subscription notifications, including product, trial or purchase status, expiration, revocation, price, and currency. These records are used for App Functionality, fraud prevention, entitlement verification, and service reliability—not advertising.

Storage, providers, and retention

The CookCove service stores encrypted raw and cleaned recipe text, parsed recipe JSON, the optional sanitized image, processing errors, attempt history, token usage, and processing cost. User payloads are encrypted at rest with per-identity keys. Text sent to OpenRouter is requested with zero-data-retention and provider data collection disabled. CookCove does not sell this data, use it for tracking, or permit it to train advertising profiles. Processing records are retained until you use Delete All Data unless a limited legal obligation requires otherwise.

Deletion and your choices

Delete All Data in CookCove Settings first deletes the server processing history, images, entitlement cache, and encryption keys, then removes local recipes, cookbooks, media, drafts, import inbox items, attestation keys, and development keys. If server deletion cannot be confirmed, local data is preserved so you can retry. A non-identifying deletion tombstone may remain to prevent a later Apple notification from silently recreating deleted history. You can use CookCove's local free features without sending recipe content to the AI service.

CookCove data categories

Depending on the features you use, linked App Functionality data can include Photos or Videos, Other User Content, Device Identifier, Product Interaction, Purchase information, and Other Diagnostic Data. CookCove does not track you across apps or websites and does not use third-party advertising.

Text Brush Photo Video

Text Brush processes the photos, videos and text you choose on your device. That content is not sent to AppMetrica. Starting with version 1.2.1 build 6, usage analytics is optional and disabled by default. If you enable Share usage analytics in Settings, AppMetrica (Yandex) receives a persistent SDK installation or device identifier, installation and session information, general device and app details such as OS version and screen resolution, and approximate location derived from your network address. These data help us understand usage and maintain the app and analytics service. They are associated with a device identifier, not an app account, name or email address.

Text Brush does not provide AppMetrica with your text, photos, videos, purchase history, precise location, profile ID, advertising identifier or crash reports. This integration does not use cross-app tracking or personalized advertising. You can stop future analytics sending in Settings without losing app features. This does not recall in-flight requests or erase data already received; queued statistics may be delivered if you enable analytics again.

AppMetrica processing may occur outside your country under Yandex's Privacy Policy. Retention follows the service's applicable settings and terms. For access or deletion requests, email [email protected] and identify Text Brush. Additional information may be needed to locate device-associated records. Apple handles payments through StoreKit; purchase history is not sent to AppMetrica. The YumCut account and AI sections below do not apply to Text Brush.

Rewind Riddle

Rewind Riddle does not require an account. Voice recordings, imported audio, typed answers, player names and scores are processed on your device. Temporary Solo recordings are deleted after the game. Saved recordings remain until you delete them or choose to share them using the system share sheet. Solo clues are downloaded from the app's content service; these requests expose your network address to that service but do not upload your recordings or answers.

Optional advertising attribution with AppsFlyer

Starting with version 1.1.2 build 11, Rewind Riddle replaces AppMetrica with AppsFlyer to measure advertising installs and sessions from networks such as Yandex Direct and X. AppsFlyer starts only when you authorize Apple's App Tracking Transparency request and enable advertising attribution in the app. Previous analytics consent is not reused. Denying or withdrawing permission does not restrict game features or purchases.

After consent, AppsFlyer and enabled advertising partners may process advertising and installation identifiers, installs and sessions, device and operating-system details, advertising attribution data, and an approximate region derived from your network address. These data can be linked to your device and used for cross-app advertising attribution. We do not send recordings, imported audio, typed answers, player names, scores, purchase history or precise location. This integration does not include crash reporting or custom in-app events. Apple's aggregate SKAdNetwork install reporting is separate and does not require enabling AppsFlyer tracking.

Disable advertising attribution in the app or revoke tracking permission in iOS Settings to stop future SDK sending. The app rechecks permission when returning to the foreground. Disabling tracking does not recall requests already sent or erase data previously received. Processing may occur outside your country; retention follows applicable provider settings and terms. See AppsFlyer's Privacy Policy. To request access or deletion, contact the email below and identify Rewind Riddle.

Earlier AppMetrica version

Version 1.1.1 build 10 of Rewind Riddle offered optional usage analytics provided by AppMetrica (Yandex). Analytics is off until you enable Share usage statistics in Settings. If enabled, AppMetrica processes app launches and sessions, persistent device or installation identifiers, device and operating-system details, and an approximate region derived from your network address. We use these data to understand usage and improve the app. These statistics are associated with device identifiers and are not described as anonymous.

This integration does not send your recordings, imported files, answers, player names, purchase history, precise location or advertising identifier to AppMetrica. It does not include cross-app advertising tracking or crash reporting. AppMetrica's processing may take place outside your country. For the provider's privacy practices, see Yandex's Privacy Policy.

Your choices and deletion

You can disable future analytics sending at any time in Settings without losing app features. Network failures in analytics do not prevent you from using the app. Disabling analytics does not recall requests already in progress or erase information already received by AppMetrica; queued statistics may be delivered if you enable analytics again. Analytics retention follows the service's applicable retention settings and terms. To request access or deletion, email [email protected] and identify Rewind Riddle. We may need additional information to locate records because the app has no user account.

Apple processes purchases through StoreKit. Rewind Riddle uses verified purchase entitlements to provide Plus access; the AppMetrica integration does not receive purchase transactions. The YumCut account and AI-provider sections below apply only to YumCut Mobile, not to Rewind Riddle.

Image Compressor: Target Size (Image Target)

This section applies only to Image Compressor: Target Size, App Store ID 6819017031, starting with version 1.0 build 1. The app does not require an account. Image inspection, compression and comparison happen on your device. Your images, filenames, target sizes, settings and compressed copies are not uploaded to us or to AppsFlyer. You choose whether to save or share a copy using Photos, Files or the system share sheet. The original is preserved. Output copies remove source camera and location metadata while retaining color information needed to display the image.

Optional advertising attribution

AppsFlyer measures advertising installations and sessions. Its SDK starts only after you authorize Apple’s App Tracking Transparency request and enable Ad attribution in Settings. Declining or withdrawing permission does not restrict image compression or purchases. With consent, AppsFlyer and enabled advertising partners receive advertising and installation identifiers, installation and session information, general device and operating-system details, and an approximate region inferred from your network address. These data can be linked to your device and used for advertising measurement across companies’ apps and websites. Device ID, Product Interaction and Coarse Location are disclosed as linked data used for tracking.

The app does not send images, image metadata, custom processing events, purchase history, revenue, account identifiers, precise location or crash reports to AppsFlyer. IDFV collection and Apple Ads attribution are disabled; consent for ads personalization is false. Apple may separately send aggregate SKAdNetwork installation reports, including a copy to AppsFlyer. The app reports only the initial installation conversion value.

Your choices, retention and purchases

Turn Ad attribution off in the app to stop future SDK reporting and partner sharing. You can also revoke tracking permission in iOS Settings; the app rechecks permission when returning to the foreground. These choices do not recall requests already sent or delete previously received records. Attribution records follow AppsFlyer’s applicable retention settings and terms and may be processed outside your country. See AppsFlyer’s Privacy Policy.

Apple handles payments through StoreKit. Verified Apple-signed entitlements provide monthly, yearly or lifetime access; the daily allowance is stored locally. Our payment service may receive Apple subscription notifications, including product, transaction status, expiration, revocation, price and currency, for billing and support. They are not sent to AppsFlyer. Local preferences are removed when the app is uninstalled; saved image copies remain in Photos or Files until you delete them.

For support, access, correction or deletion requests, email [email protected] and identify Image Compressor: Target Size. Because the app has no account, additional information may be necessary to locate device-associated records. The app is not directed toward children. YumCut Mobile’s account, cloud-content and AI-provider disclosures do not apply to Image Target.

Chinese: Hanzi Daily

This section applies to Chinese: Hanzi Daily, App Store ID 6801219920. The optional attribution disclosures apply starting with version 1.0.1 build 4. The app is for adult learners and is not directed toward children. Hanzi Daily does not require an account. Study progress, favourites, review history and preferences are stored on your device and may sync through your private Apple iCloud account. Pronunciation audio is downloaded from our audio host; network providers receive the IP address and requested audio file needed to deliver it. Learning history and writing practice are not sent to AppsFlyer or Meta.

Optional advertising attribution

AppsFlyer measures installations and sessions only after you allow Apple's App Tracking Transparency request and the Ad attribution preference is enabled in Settings. Declining does not limit learning or purchased features. With consent, AppsFlyer and enabled advertising partners, including Meta, may receive advertising and installation identifiers, install and session information, device and operating-system information, advertising interaction and campaign data, and approximate location inferred from your IP address. These data may be linked to your device and used for analytics, developer advertising and third-party advertising attribution across companies. We disclose these flows as tracking. We do not send lesson content, writing, study history, custom learning events, purchases, revenue, account identifiers, crash reports or precise location to AppsFlyer. IDFV collection and Apple Ads attribution are disabled; ads-personalization consent is false.

Turn Ad attribution off in the app to stop subsequent SDK reporting and partner sharing. On foreground, the app rechecks iOS tracking permission and disables its preference when permission is revoked. Turning reporting off does not recall previously received data. Separately, Apple may send privacy-preserving aggregate SKAdNetwork installation reports, with a copy to AppsFlyer. The app reports only the initial installation conversion value.

Payments, retention and deletion

Apple handles payments. Hanzi Daily verifies StoreKit entitlements to provide Plus access. Payment notifications may be processed for billing and entitlement support and are not forwarded to AppsFlyer. Attribution records follow AppsFlyer's retention settings and terms and may be processed outside your country. See AppsFlyer's Privacy Policy. Use the study-data deletion control in Settings to erase study data. Manage iCloud data through Apple's controls. For access, correction or deletion of records held by us or our attribution provider, email [email protected] and identify Hanzi Daily. Additional information may be needed to locate device-associated records because no app account exists. YumCut Mobile's account, creative-input and AI-generation disclosures do not apply to Hanzi Daily.

YumCut Mobile

Video Compressor: Target Size (Video Target)

This section applies only to Video Compressor: Target Size, App Store ID 6759647731, starting with version 10 build 13. The app does not require an account. Video compression runs on your device. Your selected videos, audio tracks, filenames, conversion settings and resulting files are not uploaded to us or to AppsFlyer. You choose whether to save or share the result using Apple's system controls.

Optional advertising attribution

AppsFlyer measures which advertising leads to installations and subsequent sessions. Its SDK starts only after you authorize Apple's App Tracking Transparency request and the separate Ad attribution preference is enabled in the app's Settings. You can use all free or purchased features without allowing tracking. Any earlier analytics preference does not authorize advertising tracking.

With consent, AppsFlyer and enabled advertising partners may receive advertising and installation identifiers, install and session information, device and operating-system information, campaign and advertising interaction data, and approximate location inferred from your IP address. These data may be linked to your device and used for analytics, developer advertising and third-party advertising attribution across companies' apps and websites. We therefore disclose them as linked data used for tracking. We do not send custom conversion events, purchase history, revenue, account identifiers, crash reports, precise location or your media to AppsFlyer. IDFV collection and Apple Ads attribution are disabled; consent for ads personalization is set to false.

Turning Ad attribution off stops subsequent SDK reporting and partner sharing. The app also rechecks your iOS tracking permission when it returns to the foreground and disables its preference if permission has been revoked. You can change the OS permission in iOS Settings. Turning reporting off does not recall data already received. Separately, Apple may send privacy-preserving aggregate SKAdNetwork installation reports, including a copy to AppsFlyer; these do not require allowing device-level tracking. The app reports only the initial installation conversion value, not purchases or usage events.

Purchases, retention and your rights

Apple handles payments through StoreKit. The app verifies Apple-signed entitlements to unlock paid access and stores its daily free-conversion allowance locally. Apple subscription notifications may be processed by our payment service for entitlement, billing and support purposes; they are not forwarded to AppsFlyer. Existing purchases remain restorable.

Attribution records are retained and processed under AppsFlyer's service settings and terms, and may be processed outside your country. See AppsFlyer's Privacy Policy. Contact [email protected] for access, correction or deletion requests and identify Video Compressor: Target Size. Because the app has no account, additional information may be necessary to locate device-associated records. Local files can be removed in the app, Photos or Files; uninstalling the app removes its local settings. The app is not directed toward children. The account, cloud content and AI-provider terms for YumCut Mobile below do not apply to this app.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how YumCut ("we," "us," or "our") handles personal information inside the YumCut mobile application that is distributed via the Apple App Store. It also satisfies App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1, which requires every app to clearly explain what data is collected, how it is used, and which third parties receive it.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account data: email address, display name, and optional profile photo so we can authenticate you and associate your projects with your workspace.
  • Creative inputs: video prompts, uploaded media, voice instructions, and template selections that you provide to generate an AI video.
  • Usage diagnostics: device model, OS version, locale, crash logs, and feature engagement metrics to keep the app reliable. You can opt out of diagnostics in Settings.

3. How We Use Data

  • Authenticate you, maintain your session, and display your personalized content.
  • Render the requested AI video, including scripts, voice tracks, captions, and final compositions.
  • Provide customer support and respond to deletion or export requests.
  • Monitor service health, combat abuse, and fulfill legal obligations.

4. Sharing with AI Providers

To generate a video, YumCut orchestrates multiple third-party AI providers (for example, speech synthesis or image generation). We transmit only the creative inputs (text prompts, reference media, and relevant metadata) that are necessary to create the requested video. Each provider contractually agrees to use the data exclusively for rendering your asset, provide equal protection, and delete derivatives that are not required to deliver the result. We do not permit these providers to train their foundational models on your private prompts or media unless you have explicitly opted in.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Project files and prompts remain in your account until you delete them or your workspace owner enforces an automatic retention policy. Support tickets and billing records are retained for as long as required by law (typically 7 years in the United States). When you delete a project, we remove it from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days unless legal preservation rules prevent us from doing so.

6. Your Choices

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or request deletion via the in-app Settings → Privacy menu. All self-service controls live inside the mobile app, so there is no separate web page to visit.

7. Contact Us

Email [email protected] and include "YumCut Mobile" in the subject line so we can route your request quickly. We do not maintain a physical mailing address for privacy inquiries; email is the fastest way to reach us.
